A significant number of parts from which Solaris cars are assembled at the former Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg were produced in 2021-2022. This was reported by Kirill Mileshkin, an expert at Za Rulem magazine.
According to him, one headlight shows a production date of November 2021, the other shows January 2022.
All the glass was made in 2022. Except for the windshield, which is dated 2025.
The auto expert added that he could not find any Chinese stickers or stamps under the hood of the Solaris KRX, only logos of Korean companies. At the current stage of production, the Solaris looks like a familiar car that you can trust, Mileshkin stated.
