The "AGR Holding" plant (formerly Volkswagen) in St. Petersburg has started production of the Tenet T8 crossover. This is the third model of the Russian brand to be assembled at the plant in Kaluga.
For the production of the Tenet T8, the assembly lines were reconfigured, the equipment was adapted to the design features of the model, and quality control systems were adjusted. Production is carried out in a full cycle with welding and painting of bodies.
The Tenet T8 is a seven-seater all-wheel drive crossover. The three-row T8 will be offered with a non-alternative two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 197 hp (375 Nm) paired with a seven-speed "robot". Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8.4 seconds, the maximum speed is 210 km/h.
