The Changan Deepal G318 hybrid SUV has been launched on the Russian market, with prices starting from 3.85 million rubles. The car, positioned as a competitor to the Toyota Land Cruiser 250, offers twice the power at half the price. The model is equipped with a series hybrid system, including a 1.5-liter gasoline generator engine and two electric motors with a total output of 430 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 6.3 seconds.
In terms of dimensions, the Deepal G318 is comparable to the Land Cruiser 250: length — 5010 mm, width — 1985 mm, height — 1895 mm, wheelbase — 2880 mm. The SUV is equipped with air suspension with adjustable ground clearance, differential locks, and a "transparent hood" system for off-road convenience. These characteristics make it a serious player in the SUV segment.
The car is equipped with advanced technologies: a surround view system, a media system with a karaoke function, a projection display, and a built-in refrigerator. For rear passengers, there is a 17-inch screen on the ceiling. Changan plans to officially present the Deepal G318 in Russia, and the first cars have already been imported by dealers.
