New Toyota bz4X Crossover Unveiled

Model Resembles Gasoline-Powered RAV4

The updated Toyota bz4X electric crossover from the GAC Toyota joint venture has been certified in China. The model is unified with the new gasoline-powered RAV4 in terms of dimensions and front-end design, including the C-shaped headlights. This allows for a unified family appearance for different versions, simplifying brand recognition.

Toyota bz4X dimensions: length 4690 mm, width 1860 mm, height 1650 mm, wheelbase 2850 mm. Thanks to the electric vehicle layout, the interior is more spacious than the gasoline-powered RAV4. The model is available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The front-wheel drive version is equipped with an electric motor producing 222 hp. The maximum power of the all-wheel drive configuration has not yet been announced.

The updated bz4X emphasizes Toyota's transition to electrification while maintaining the practicality of a crossover. Certification in China paves the way for local production and export, increasing competition in the electric vehicle segment.
