At the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, Kia presented the EV9 car with HWD technology, which turns the windshield into a screen that can display data on the car's condition, navigation and multimedia. The solution is being developed by Hyundai Mobis in collaboration with ZEISS and should become widespread by 2029.
In addition, at a closed presentation, the company presented its strategy in accordance with the vision of the future of the automotive industry: innovative solutions in the field of visualization, integrated management and environmentally friendly electrification. The central element of the strategy is the SDV (software-defined vehicle) concept, which combines software and hardware for autonomous vehicle control level 2+.
Hyundai Mobis is extremely active in cooperating with various brands, including European giants Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volksvagen in the field of individual solutions. The company's sales in Europe have grown from 5 to more than 8 trillion won in 4 years, and the exhibition in Munich should consolidate successful growth.
