The Korean-made Samsung XM3 cross-coupe, well-known to car enthusiasts as the Renault Arkana, has begun to be imported into the Russian market. The model is produced in South Korea and is offered at a price starting from 2,490,000 rubles, which makes it a more affordable option compared to similar "Chinese" models. The first cars are already available in Novosibirsk and the Leningrad Region, with sellers promising delivery to any region of the country.
The base version of the crossover is equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with 123 hp, a CVT, and front-wheel drive. A more expensive modification for 2,750,000 rubles is equipped with a 150-horsepower 1.3 TCe turbocharged engine and a seven-speed Getrag "robot". Both options offer rich equipment: leather interior trim, climate control, a multimedia system with a touch screen, cruise control, an electronic hand brake, heated seats, and a wide range of driver assistance systems.
The "Korean brother" differs from the Renault Arkana mainly in external details - a redesigned rear bumper, different door stampings, original lights, and additional chrome. The interior of the XM3 is also unique; the only element shared with the Arkana is the steering wheel with paddle shifters.
At the same time, competitors from China are noticeably more expensive: the Changan Uni-T is offered for a minimum of 3,069,900 rubles, and the new Knewstar Tugella starts from 4,162,990 rubles.
