Chery has introduced the Weilin R08 pickup truck under the Rely brand, focused on practical use in business and everyday life. The model comes in two versions: with a 2.3-liter turbodiesel (163 hp, 420 Nm) and a 2.4-liter gasoline engine (118 kW, 230 Nm), both combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The starting price is from 88,800 yuan (approximately $12,400).
The dimensions of the pickup are 5330 × 1920 × 1890 mm, wheelbase is 3230 mm, cargo compartment is 1530 × 1620 × 515 mm. The body is 52% high-strength steel, with a 540° panoramic camera, transparent chassis, 8155 chip, OTA updates, voice control, and network connection as standard. For diesel versions, the prices are: Exclusive from 94,800 yuan, Trace Edition from 116,800, Dream Chaser Edition - 149,800, Cold Region Edition from 120,800, Mountain Edition from 121,800, Shanghai Edition from 103,800 yuan.
Gasoline options: Light Edition for 88,800 yuan, Explorer Edition from 92,800. The Mountain version adds differential locks, tank turn, low-speed mode, LED headlights, heated mirrors, and rain sensors. The Shanhai Edition features a flat body with six leaf springs for increased load capacity, anti-corrosion, EPB, remote control, and electric seat adjustment. The Cold Region Edition includes a 92 Ah AGM battery, heated steering wheel, seats, glass, rear axle lock, and heated rear window.
