Great Wall has introduced an updated Tank 400 SUV with two hybrid powertrains based on a 2.0-liter turbo engine. The model features an improved third-generation Coffee Pilot Ultra autonomous driving system with LiDAR, side, and rear-view cameras. Exterior changes are minimal: a redesigned front bumper and a new body color. Dimensions are 4964 × 1970 × 1905 mm, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. The car is shorter, wider, and taller than its predecessor, equipped with 18-inch wheels, and capable of towing a trailer weighing up to 2.5 tons.
The interior features a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a media system with a 16.2-inch screen, a three-spoke steering wheel, a column-mounted gear selector, and wireless charging. Options include massage seats, a head-up display, a 15.6-inch screen for rear passengers, and a refrigerator. The rear seats fold flat with the trunk. The base configuration now includes LiDAR for autopilot support.
The flagship Hi4-Z version combines a 2.0-liter 251-hp engine with two electric motors totaling 618 hp. A 59.05 kWh battery provides 200 km of electric range, with a consumption of 8.3 l/100 km when depleted. A simplified hybrid system with a single 163-hp electric motor has a 37.1 kWh battery, a range of 105 km, and an average consumption of 8.4 l/100 km.
