"Stalkers" found dozens of luxury cars in the abandoned Beijing Imperial Palace hotel in Macau, the "gaming capital of Asia." Among them are a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, a Hummer H2 limousine, a previous-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Porsche Cayenne, and several Audi A8.
Judging by the footage, the premium cars have been standing on the hotel grounds since 2017, when the Macau authorities closed the hotel after investigating illegal gambling cases.
One of the "Phantoms" has a left-hand drive and was obviously intended for trips to mainland China. In the underground parking lot, researchers found several Toyota Alphard and Vellfire minivans and two white Dodge Charger limousines used as shuttles.
The Beijing Imperial Palace Hotel closed permanently in January 2017 after the arrest of Suncity Group head Alvin Chau. The businessman himself was sentenced to 18 years in prison for organizing illegal gambling.
