The Kaliningrad holding «Avtotor» announced plans for 2026: the company is preparing to release a new compact electric car, which will be an adapted version of the Chinese model JMEV EV3 for the Russian market. At the same time, the company will be engaged in restyling the sedan «AmberAuto A5», all stocks of which have already been sold out.
The new electric hatchback with a length of 3.72 meters will receive a battery with a capacity of 30.24 kWh and a 68-horsepower electric motor. The maximum speed is 110 km/h, the range is about 330 km according to the CLTC cycle. Standard equipment includes a panoramic roof, a multimedia system with a 10.1-inch screen, navigation, parking sensors and ISOFIX mounts.
It is expected that the assembly of the model will begin in 8–9 months, and the cost of the car, according to sources, will be «reasonable» — significantly lower than the prices of current imported electric vehicles.
