The updated Lada Niva Travel with a 1.8-liter engine received all-LED optics - from headlights and daytime running lights to taillights and fog lights borrowed from Vesta NG. The factory conducted a comparison with the previous halogen headlights and shared the test results.
According to AvtoVAZ, the low beam of the new headlights provides a lighting range of up to 120 m (compared to 80 m for halogen lamps) and a beam width of 14 m instead of 10 m. The high beam increased the range from 190 to 230 m and widened to 15 m. Thus, the low beam became 50% more powerful and 40% wider, and the high beam became 21% and 50% respectively.
Other advantages include reduced energy consumption, higher luminous flux, and an increased service life designed for the entire life cycle of the car without the need for maintenance.
