Moskvich Reveals What's Happening with the Moskvich 5 Crossover

The manufacturer has not yet decided whether the new model will go on sale

Moskvich 5 crossovers continue to undergo test operation in the corporate fleet. This was reported by the brand's press service.

Based on the test results, the management will decide whether to launch the model on the market. If the project is approved, the Moskvich 5 will receive engines with a capacity of 136 and 174 hp paired with a CVT.

The model is based on the JAC Sehol X6, a 4505 mm long crossover with a wheelbase of 2660 mm. For comparison, the Moskvich 3 is slightly more compact, with a length of 4410 mm and 2620 mm between the axles.

It is assumed that other cars will appear in the brand's lineup in the future, such as the M70 and M90, built on the platforms of the British brand MG.

Currently, Moskvich produces the Moskvich 3 crossover, its electric version, the Moskvich 6 sedan, and the Moskvich 8 three-row SUV.

Earlier motoram.ru reported that a Lada dealership closed in St. Petersburg for the first time in six years.
