If earlier an additional box was installed without questions, today inspectors pay attention to the safety and compliance of the structure with the manufacturer's requirements.
In addition, the inspector has the right to demand the removal of the trunk if it is installed without official approval or does not meet the technical parameters of the car.
To avoid problems, it is necessary to comply with two key conditions. Firstly, standard fasteners, and secondly, the trunk must have a certificate of conformity and be suitable for a specific car model.
