A rare 1980 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is up for sale in Russia. Queen Elizabeth II presented a car of the same brand to the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, Leonid Brezhnev, in 1974.
According to the seller, the car was once a gift to a certain political figure, which makes the lot especially interesting for collectors.
The car is painted in dark green metallic, and the interior is trimmed with genuine leather and precious wood. However, the condition of the car is far from museum quality - the body and interior require extensive restoration.
Under the hood is a 6.8-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 192 hp, working in conjunction with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
The seller values the car at 5.2 million rubles. According to him, the model is completely original, without modifications.
Earlier, motoram.ru reported that a Lada dealership closed in St. Petersburg for the first time in six years.
