Lada Iskra Sales Soar - Almost 800 Cars Registered

More than a third of the cars were bought by individuals

In October, 637 Lada Iskra cars were registered in Russia, according to Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency.

In total, since the start of sales in July 2024, 765 cars of the new AvtoVAZ model have been registered in Russia. Tselikov noted that October was the first full month of sales, as in the first three months, the registration of Iskra was "measured in units."

More than three-quarters of Iskra sales (76%) are to individuals.

Lada Iskra officially went on sale on July 20, 2024. Production of the model has been established at the Togliatti plant and at the Avtozavod St. Petersburg site, where Nissan and Xcite cars were previously assembled.

The basic configuration of the sedan with a manual transmission is estimated at 1.25 million rubles, and the most expensive version, the SW Cross station wagon with a CVT, costs about 1.8 million rubles.
