An almost untouched 1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX with a mileage of about 200 km has been sold in the USA - the car still has factory films on the seats and original stickers on the windows. A dealer from New Jersey asked $149,000 for this copy - almost $17,000 more than a new Porsche Carrera costs.
When the car first went on sale in 1992, it cost $16,274 (adjusted for inflation, that's about $37,600 - about the same as a modern Mustang EcoBoost Premium). The car is painted in a rare dark green color and is in perfect visual condition, with no signs of use.
Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8 with 225 hp and a manual transmission. Experts note that such a high price is due to the unique preservation: similar Mustangs on the market are usually valued at no more than 40 thousand dollars, but this one became an exception thanks to its museum "conservation".
