The Geely EX5 EM-i, the brand's first plug-in hybrid for the Russian market, was showcased at the "Moscow Auto Show." The model is built on the GEA architecture and features an EM-i parallel-series hybrid system, providing an impressive range of up to 943 km according to WLTP standards. The crossover can continue driving even with a fully discharged battery.
The powertrain includes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 99 hp and 46.5% efficiency, and a 218 hp electric motor. The total power, considered for taxation, is 167 hp. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8.1 seconds. Fast charging the LiFePO4 battery from 30 to 80% takes 20 minutes, and V2L and V2V support allows powering external devices and even charging other vehicles.
Two trim levels are offered in Russia. The Pro version, priced at 3.57 million rubles, includes LED optics, 18-inch wheels, a 15.4-inch multimedia screen, climate control, and a winter package. The top-end Max version, priced at 3.87 million, adds a panoramic roof, electric tailgate, ventilated seats, surround-view cameras, and a head-up display.
The warranty is 6 years or 150,000 km, and the battery warranty is 8 years or 150,000 km.
