Russian dealers predict that after the restyling, the Tank 300 will become a key model for the brand. According to Ilya Petrov, Retail Sales Director at Avilon, the SUV's share in the overall sales structure could grow to 50–60% due to stable demand and the fact that it is the most affordable model in the lineup. Buyers traditionally compare it with Jetour, GAC, Chery (Tenet), Exeed, and Haval Dargo, H3, and H5 SUVs, but the Tank 300 effectively has no direct competitor.
According to the AvtoSpetsCenter Group, the Tank 300 already accounts for 54% of the brand's sales in Russia. The updated SUV is offered at a price from 4,299,000 to 5,049,000 rubles, depending on the configuration. The update brought differences between the versions with Part-Time all-wheel drive and Torque-On-Demand systems: urban configurations received body-colored elements and new 18-inch wheels, emphasizing their road-going character.
Inside, there are new trim materials, including a red-and-black option, double glazing for noise reduction, a thicker steering wheel, and a modern multimedia system with wireless smartphone connection and charging. From a technical point of view, the Tank 300 retains the same 2-liter 220 hp turbo engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive with low range and locking differentials, and a ground clearance of 224 mm. The dynamics also remain the same: acceleration to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds, top speed of 175 km/h.
