Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg has received a new BAZ S34A10 for trial operation. The tractor traveled almost 5,000 km on its own from the factory in Shushary, according to Romanov JSC.
The average daily mileage was about 400 km, and the first scheduled maintenance was carried out at 4,000 km in Yugorsk. The handover ceremony took place in Novy Urengoy.
The tractor has been sent for operational tests on the Yamberg field routes. For six months, the equipment will be used as part of a road train with increased weight and tested in harsh road conditions.
Based on the evaluation of operational characteristics and cost of ownership, PJSC Gazprom will decide on the possible purchase of BAZ trucks as part of the import substitution program.
Romanov JSC reported that the company has received the official status of an authorized manufacturer. This means that the company can now independently issue electronic vehicle passports (EPTS) for heavy trucks of its own production.
