Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg has received a new BAZ S34A10 for pilot production. The tractor traveled almost 5,000 km on its own from the factory in Shushary, according to AO Romanov.
The average daily mileage was about 400 km, the first scheduled maintenance was carried out at 4,000 km in Yugorsk. The handover ceremony took place in Novy Urengoy.
The tractor has been sent for operational tests on the Yamberg field tracks. For six months, the equipment will be used as part of a road train of increased weight and tested in difficult road conditions.
Based on the assessment of operational characteristics and cost of ownership, PJSC Gazprom will decide on the possible purchase of BAZ trucks as part of the import substitution program.
AO Romanov said that the company has received official authorized manufacturer status. This means that the company can now independently issue electronic vehicle passports (EPTS) for heavy trucks of its own production.
