The latest MIIT documents contain a full set of characteristics for the Chery Fulwin T9L plug-in hybrid, the most advanced version of the brand's new mid-size crossover. The model premiered at the Guangzhou Auto Show, and sales will start in the first quarter of 2026. The Fulwin T9L will take its place in the rapidly growing segment of PHEV SUVs, where the BYD Sealion 06 DM-i, Changan Nevo Q07, and BYD Song L DM-i are already playing.
The crossover will be available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions. The versions differ externally: the front-wheel drive version has a closed front panel, while the all-wheel drive version has a classic grille. A lidar on the roof will appear in certain configurations. Design elements include L-shaped daytime running lights, solid rear optics, roof rails, semi-hidden door handles, and 19–20 inch wheels. The dimensions are impressive: 4870×1930×1710 mm with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. The body remains five-seater; extended configurations are not provided.
The interior is expectedly technological: a floating center screen, a digital instrument panel on a 3-nm chip, the Fulwin UI 2.0 system, wireless charging, and adjustable rear seats. Front passengers have access to ventilation, heating, massage, retractable leg supports, and memory; both rows can be folded into a full double bed. Music is provided by a system of 23 speakers at 1080 W, and the climate allows you to set the temperature from -6 to +50 degrees. The driver assistance complex includes Falcon 700+, a Journey 6P chip (560 TOPS), and 27 sensors.
The Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM power plant, combined with the DHT260 transmission, includes a 1.5-liter turbo engine at 115 kW and provides a total power of 260 kW and 330 N·m. The front-wheel drive version accelerates to 180 km/h, the all-wheel drive version is faster and reaches 100 km/h in 5 seconds. Batteries with a capacity of 19.527 and 32.659 kWh provide 101 or 170 km of electric range according to CLTC. The minimum fuel consumption in unloaded mode is 3.9 l/100 km.
