An unusual incident occurred on the I-95 highway in Florida: a training aircraft made an emergency landing directly on the roof of a Toyota Camry sedan, reports WESH 2. The pilot had previously informed dispatchers about engine problems and tried to land the plane on the highway, choosing the safest place.
However, it was not possible to completely avoid a collision with the traffic flow - the plane touched the asphalt and literally landed on top of a Toyota Camry, causing a serious accident. After the impact, the car was heavily damaged.
The Camry driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while the pilot and passenger of the training aircraft were not injured. Local services are investigating the incident, studying the causes of the engine failure and the circumstances of the emergency landing.
