By the summer of 2026, all car factories in Russia left by foreign companies will be launched. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
According to him, Russian beneficiaries, in partnership with foreign friendly companies, will begin to develop joint platforms and unified components using products from domestic manufacturers.
80% of the sites have already launched their lines, and all sites will be launched by the end of next summer.
Manturov added that the authorities expect an increase in the volume of the automotive market in Russia to 2.5 million cars by 2030, despite the projected 19% decrease in sales in 2025.
