In Izhevsk, a buyer was sold a crashed foreign car under the guise of a new one. The situation occurred in December at the official Geely dealer on Soyuznaya Street.
The company "BP Master" leased a Geely Okavango Flagship car. The cost of the foreign car amounted to 3.58 million rubles. The buyer thought he was taking a new car, and the salon staff did not say anything to the contrary.
Four days later, the car was sent for anti-corrosion treatment, where specialists noticed that the foreign car was crashed.
The owner contacted the seller, and also notified the official Geely representative office in Russia. After an internal audit, the dealer confirmed the presence of defects, but refused to change the car to a new one.
The buyer demanded that the terms of the contract be fulfilled and that a similar new car without damage be provided. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer complied. Now the company is preparing a pre-trial claim, not excluding further recourse to the court.
