A rare, well-preserved VAZ-2101 from 1977 has been put up for sale in Russia. The ad appeared in Grozny: for almost half a century, the car has traveled only 7,308 km, which is confirmed by the odometer readings. According to the owner, the car was in a dry garage in a suspended state for about 30 years and was practically not used.
The seller claims that the "Kopeyka" had one owner, the body has retained its factory paint, and the original smell is still felt in the cabin. The car has not been polished, and nothing has changed in the technical part - all the details remained original, including the rubber elements. Even the tires and rims date back to 1977, and the shock absorbers are Polish-made, as in the factory configuration.
The sedan is equipped with a 1.3-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 69 hp, working in tandem with a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. They are asking for 1.575 million rubles for a well-preserved "time capsule" - about the same as a new Lada Vesta costs today.
