The Geely Coolray crossover in an updated design is planned to return to the Russian market in 2026. This refers to the model known in China as Binyue L, which is noticeably different from the previous Coolray, which was previously sold in Russia.
The changes affect both the exterior and the interior of the car. This model has been present on the Chinese market since the fall of 2024 and is considered an updated version of the crossover, well known to Russian buyers.
For China, the Geely Binyue L is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 181 hp. The engine is paired with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with a double clutch. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h takes 7.6 seconds.
As a reminder, the Coolray model disappeared from the official Geely website in Russia in the fall of 2025. Currently, the most affordable crossover of the brand on the Russian market remains the Geely Cityray, the minimum price of which is 2.85 million rubles, excluding discounts and special offers.
