Haval Jolion and Geely Coolray became the most liquid Chinese crossovers

NAPI named the cars with the best price retention in 2025

The NAPI marketing agency has published a study of the residual value of passenger cars for the fourth quarter of 2025. In the segment of popular Chinese crossovers, Geely Coolray and Haval Jolion showed the best price retention in the secondary market.

Geely Coolray

According to NAPI, Geely Coolray became the leader in value retention after two years of operation. By the end of 2025, the average price of a two-year-old crossover was 2.03 million rubles, which is equivalent to 72.62% of the cost of a new car. For the owner, this means that when buying a new Coolray, he would have to pay about 27.38% of the current market price of the car.

With a holding period of four years, the Haval Jolion turned out to be the most profitable in terms of liquidity. Despite the fact that Geely Coolray remains the most expensive in the secondary market in absolute terms with a price of about 1.69 million rubles, it is Jolion that best retains its share of the original cost - 65.55%. The owner of a four-year-old car would need to pay about 34.45% to buy a new Jolion at the end of 2025.

Other models showed more modest results. Chery Tiggo 7 Pro retains 65.95% of its original price after two years, and 61.04% after four years. Changan CS35 Plus retains only 56.27% of its value over a four-year period. The least liquid car in the study was the JAC J7 liftback, the price of which drops to 54.7% of the cost of a new car after four years.
