In the second half of 2025, only 12 Aurus cars were registered in Russia, which confirmed a sharp slowdown in sales after a record first half of the year and showed a systemic decline in demand for civilian models of the brand.
In mid-2025, Aurus recorded record sales: 126 cars were sold in the first half of the year, and average monthly sales from January to May reached 24 cars. However, already in June, sales decreased to five units, and by the end of the second half of the year, the decline turned out to be stable. From July to December, only 12 Aurus were registered, and no cars were sold in November.
Sales by month were distributed as follows: July — 3 cars, August — 4, September — 2, October — 2, December — 1. During this period, four Aurus Komendant crossovers of the 2025 model year, assembled in the Alabuga SEZ, were registered, the remaining cars are Aurus Senat sedans. Seven Senat were produced in 2025, two of them at the NAMI site, and one more car from 2023 was also produced in Alabuga.
Earlier, in the spring of 2025, the authorized capital of Aurus LLC increased from 31,250 rubles to 17.625 billion rubles, which could indicate preparations for expanding production. However, actual sales in the second half of the year indicate a fading of sales of previous models.
Most of the cars sold replenished corporate fleets. Among the buyers are Gazprom, Russian Railways, the Carcade leasing company, as well as several private and inconspicuous legal entities. As a result, Aurus ended 2025 with a sharp drop in sales of civilian cars, while the production of special versions for law enforcement agencies, apparently, will be maintained.
