On December 22, 2025, KAMAZ CEO Sergey Kogogin stated that the company expects a reduction in truck sales by approximately 20%. According to him, there are no positive signals about the recovery of the market yet, and the market itself has been in a state of deep crisis throughout the year.
Among the key reasons for the current situation, Kogogin named the high key rate, inflation, market saturation in 2023, and overstocked warehouses in 2024. The very next day, the company presented its development strategy until 2030 with a forecast until 2036. In accordance with it, KamAZ expects to increase revenue to 977 billion rubles by 2036, and the share of exports to 17%. The strategy assumes an average annual revenue growth of 7.9% over the next ten years.
