At the end of 2025, 984 thousand new passenger cars with automatic transmission were sold in Russia. This is 74.2% of the total market volume — a record figure for the entire observation period. In other words, three out of four cars sold were with "automatic" transmission. This data is provided in the report of the "Autostat" agency.
Almost half (48.2%) of all cars sold with AT accounted for five brands. The leader was Haval (155.6 thousand units), followed by Geely (93.1 thousand), Chery (91.5 thousand), Belgee (68.1 thousand) and Changan (66.2 thousand).
The most popular model with automatic transmission remains Haval Jolion — 61.1 thousand cars sold. The second place is occupied by the LADA Vesta family (41.6 thousand). Next come Belgee X50 (38.3 thousand), Geely Monjaro (37.4 thousand) and Changan UNI-S/CS55 Plus (30.6 thousand). The indicators of the remaining models do not exceed 30 thousand units.
