The most interesting new products in the 2026 auto market were determined by survey participants in the Avtostat Telegram channels from February 23–25. More than 2,000 people, 80% of whom were representatives of the auto industry and auto business, chose the most promising projects.
The Umo 5 electric car took first place with 23% of the votes. Assembly of the model started at the Moskvich plant two weeks ago. It is based on the Chinese GAC Aion Y. Yandex is the manufacturer, and the first batch is intended for corporate taxis. Private orders are possible no earlier than May, and sales to individuals are still in question. Yandex does not have a dealer network. The price of the "electric car" is from 2.5 million rubles, including discounts.
In second place is the Volga project (18%), which was launched in Nizhny Novgorod. The K40, K50, and C50 models resemble the Atlas, Monjaro, and Preface from Chinese Geely, although official cooperation has not been confirmed.
LADA Azimut took third position (14%). It is important for AvtoVAZ to bring the new product to dealerships this year.
Fourth place goes to the new Moskvich M70 and M90 lineup. Sales start in a week, prices start from 2.69 million rubles. Partner: SAIC-MG.
The Tenet Plus project based on Lepas scored 7%, and the Atom electric car scored 3%.
