Large-scale modernization is being prepared at the Belgee car factory

Belarusians plan to double the number of industrial robots in 2026

The Belgee plant in Belarus plans to significantly increase the level of production automation. In 2026, the company intends to double the number of industrial robots.

At the time of the plant's launch near Minsk, the company operated 34 robotic systems. Since 2018, their number has gradually increased to 70 units. The next stage of modernization involves further expansion of automated production lines.

According to the company's management, the increase in the number of robots should improve the accuracy of assembly and the overall quality of the cars produced. Automation will also improve the efficiency of production lines.

At the same time, the company plans to expand its production infrastructure. In particular, the company intends to launch its own production of stamped body parts.

Currently, the Belpromproekt Institute is designing the expansion of the welding shop. Work is also underway to create a new stamping shop.

Currently, the Belgee plant produces cars using a full production cycle method. The company produces the compact X50 crossover, based on the Geely Coolray, the mid-size X70 crossover based on the Geely Atlas Pro, and the S50 sedan based on the Geely Emgrand model.
