Liberty Walk Made the Civic Type R Wider and More Aggressive, Price is Surprising

The cost of the body kit starts from $8,400, versions with carbon fiber and body widening are available

Japanese studio Liberty Walk has unveiled a new aerodynamic body kit for the Honda Civic Type R. The kit is available in a standard version and a widebody version. The basic set made of reinforced plastic costs $8,470, and the version with the addition of carbon fiber costs $13,860. The extended widebody kit is estimated at $11,000 for plastic and $16,830 for carbon fiber.

Both options include a new front bumper with a modified grille, aerodynamic canards, and a splitter. There is also a hood with an air intake and extended side skirts. The widebody version adds extended arches, increasing the body width by 10 mm, as well as ventilation elements in the front fenders.

A fixed high-rise anti-wing and a new diffuser are installed at the rear. All elements can be purchased separately. For example, the rear wing costs from $1,430, and a set of wheels costs $3,784.

The new body kit is noticeably cheaper than competitors. For comparison, the Mugen kit can cost more than $100,000, and the Arta GT from Autobacs Seven costs from $85,000. At the same time, Liberty Walk solutions are available for purchase not only in Japan.
