AvtoVAZ Reports Positive Financial Performance in 2026

Lada's Market Share Around 25%, 65.5 Thousand Cars Sold

AvtoVAZ announced positive financial performance in the first quarter of 2026 and the continued leadership of the Lada brand with a market share of around 25%.

In January–March, 65.5 thousand Lada and Xcite cars were sold through the dealer network. The company noted that sales grew steadily from month to month and are in line with forecasts.

Demand was supported by price reductions from January 1. The Lada Aura model became cheaper by 354 thousand rubles (-14%), and the Lada Largus by 73 thousand rubles (-3.8%). There has also been an increase in interest in the Niva family, including the Travel version with a new 1.8-liter engine.

The company notes that the results during the year will be affected by both the risks of market stagnation and possible growth drivers. Among them are a potential decrease in the key rate, increased availability of car loans, and a favorable ruble exchange rate for exports.

AvtoVAZ expects to maintain a stable position in the market in a changing economic situation.
