The Nizhny Novgorod automobile plant has presented the new Volga K40 crossover, the brand's third model, created on the basis of the fourth-generation Geely Atlas. So far, the vehicle has only been revealed in photographs, but the main specifications and equipment are already known.
The model will be offered in two versions:
- The basic version will get front-wheel drive, a 1.5-liter engine producing 147 hp, and a 7-speed DCT robotic transmission.
- The alternative is an all-wheel-drive version with a 2.0-liter engine rated at 200 hp and a classic 8-speed automatic transmission.
The equipment list will include: two-zone climate control, six airbags, keyless entry, and adaptive cruise control.
Also announced are an 11-speaker audio system, light and rain sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a suite of safety systems. These include automatic braking, lane keeping, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high-beam switching.
Sales of the Volga K40 will start in summer 2026 through official dealers. Prices will be announced closer to the model's launch.
