The TCR Edition costs $4,150 (317,000 rubles) more than the standard Elantra N. At the same time, the car remains more affordable than its competitors. The difference with the Honda Civic Type R is $7,595 (579,000 rubles), and with the Toyota GR Corolla - about $1,000 (76,000 rubles).
The engine remains the same: a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine develops 276 hp and 391 N⋅m of torque. The main changes concern aerodynamics and chassis.
The version received a large rear wing, 19-inch forged wheels and reinforced brakes with four-piston calipers. Special brake discs and elements that reduce resistance are also installed.
The interior uses Alcantara, seat belts in the color of the Performance Blue body and updated trim elements.
The model will be released in a limited edition. It is dedicated to the successes of the Elantra N TCR racing version, including six consecutive manufacturers' titles in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series.
