Genesis unveiled an updated version of the Magma GT concept ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans marathon. Along with the car, the company showed a full interior and a separate GT3 racing modification. All this became the clearest signal that the project is gradually approaching mass production.
When the Magma GT debuted in 2025, it was perceived as a design exercise and a demonstration of the capabilities of the new Magma sports division. However, now the car has received a detailed interior with a production level of detail, as well as a racing version created based on the model. Such a path is usually followed by projects that the manufacturer really plans to bring to the conveyor.
The Magma GT itself is positioned as the future flagship of the brand and the first full-fledged Genesis supercar. The car received a mid-engine layout, a low silhouette, wide rear fenders, and butterfly doors. According to preliminary data, the production version may use a V8 engine associated with the Genesis motorsport program.
No less important is the premiere of the Magma GT3 Concept. Genesis openly states that participation in racing should be part of the strategy for the development of sports models. The racing version received an extended track, developed aerodynamic body kit, and a large rear wing that meets the requirements of the GT3 class.
