Geely has officially unveiled the new Galaxy Cruiser 700 – the brand's first SUV with a classic "square" body design. After its premiere in China, the model will also be showcased on July 26 at an international presentation in Milan, where the manufacturer will reveal prices and detailed configurations.
The car features a body length of 5085 mm with a wheelbase of 2900 mm, a full-size spare wheel on the tailgate, and LED optics with an unusual design. The front light strip includes 84 LEDs, each headlight has 228, and the taillights feature 708 red LEDs.
Special attention has been paid to off-road capabilities. The Galaxy Cruiser 700 has a ground clearance of 233 mm, can cross fords up to 800 mm deep, and has approach and departure angles of 30° and 31° respectively. The manufacturer has also provided over 50 standard mounting points for installing additional equipment. This allows the vehicle to be equipped with a winch, snorkel, additional lighting, underbody protection, an expedition roof rack, and other off-road equipment without major modifications.
The interior features five displays, including a 15.4-inch central screen, a digital instrument cluster, a separate display for the front passenger, a head-up display, and a control screen for rear passengers. The system displays specialized off-road information: altitude, body tilt angle, and vehicle position on the terrain. At the same time, Geely has retained a large number of physical buttons so that essential functions can be used without distraction from the road.
Practicality was also a priority. The trunk volume reaches 1050 liters, and the cabin provides 63 storage compartments. Features include a refrigerator with a temperature range from -6 to +50 °C, front seats with ventilation, heating, and 14-point massage, a Flyme Sound audio system with 23 speakers, a panoramic roof, and ambient lighting with 256 colors.
Geely previously announced that the total power output of the Galaxy Cruiser 700's powertrain reaches 830 kW, or 1113 hp. Detailed technical specifications and pricing will be revealed after the model's European premiere.
