Ferrari's first production electric car, the Luce, has generated significant buyer interest even before deliveries began. The entire planned production quota for 2026 is already allocated, and new orders in some cases are being placed with delivery only in 2027.
China has become one of the first and most active markets for the new model. After the Asian premiere in Shanghai, local media reported that the number of orders for the Luce in the country exceeded 500 cars. However, Ferrari has not officially confirmed this data or disclosed sales statistics for individual regions.
The appearance of the Luce on public roads generated particular interest. Photos of the red electric car being transported through the streets of Guangzhou appeared on social media, whereas Ferrari had previously only showcased the model at official events.
The Ferrari Luce is built on an 800-volt electric architecture and is equipped with a 122 kWh battery (of which 115 kWh are usable). Four electric motors develop a total of 1,035 hp and 990 Nm of torque. According to the manufacturer, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.5 seconds, the top speed reaches 310 km/h, the WLTP range is 530 km, and DC fast charging at 350 kW allows for a charge from 10 to 80% in approximately 23 minutes.
