Xiaomi has started looking for dealers in Europe: car launch scheduled for 2027

The company has begun deploying sales and after-sales service infrastructure

Xiaomi's automotive division has launched an international website that explicitly states: Xiaomi Auto will officially arrive in Europe in 2027. At the same time, the company has opened an application form for dealers and distributors.

Xiaomi has not yet disclosed which countries the expansion will begin with, which models will be included in the initial lineup, or how much they will cost. Xiaomi President William Lu previously stated that overseas sales would begin in Q3 or Q4 2027, and preparations are on schedule.

Meanwhile, the company is already forming its European infrastructure. Xiaomi's European research and design center operates in Munich, and its employees include specialists from BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Rolls-Royce. The company is also hiring specialists in certification, logistics, warranty service, and training for European dealers.

The international Xiaomi website currently features the SU7, SU7 Ultra, YU7 GT, Sky Nomad, and the Vision Gran Turismo concept. However, this does not mean that all these cars will appear in Europe. Xiaomi is currently using them more to demonstrate the capabilities of its automotive division.

The SU7 and YU7 seem like likely candidates for the first phase, but there is no official confirmation of the initial lineup. More importantly, Xiaomi wants to enter the European market not as another Chinese manufacturer that first brings cars and then looks for service infrastructure, but by immediately building a full-fledged sales and service system.
