Production of the updated Belgee X50 has resumed after a short break. Since spring, the Belarusian plant has been producing the newer X50+, built on a modern version of the Geely platform.
The updated X50 retains the familiar technical scheme. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with 122 hp and 152 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The drive is front-wheel drive.
The car's exterior has been slightly adjusted. There are fewer chrome elements in the trim, the exterior mirror housings are now black, and the exhaust pipe is now hidden by the rear bumper. These changes make the car visually simpler and closer to the brand's current style.
The price of the updated X50 has not yet been announced. For comparison, the Belgee X50+ in Russia is currently offered for a minimum of 2.3 million rubles. If the X50 retains its status as a more affordable model, the price difference will be the main argument in its favor.
