Geely Galaxy opened pre-orders for its first body-on-frame SUV, the Zhanjian 700, and within an hour received over 43,900 refundable orders. The first 10,000 vehicles were ordered in nine minutes. The limited Land Ark Edition of 700 cars sold out in a few minutes.

The model is offered in six versions, priced from 199,800 to 389,800 yuan. The maximum power of the top version reaches 830 kW, or 1113 hp. This is the result of a gasoline engine and three electric motors as part of a plug-in hybrid system.

The combination of power with off-road electronics is particularly unusual. The Zhanjian 700 features a digital chassis with 17 driving modes, including Crab Walk side movement and Waltz Turn. The rear mechanical differential lock engages in 200 ms, ground clearance is 233 mm, and the claimed wading depth is 800 mm.

The top version accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.95 seconds. The 47.14 kWh battery allows for an electric range of up to 305 km according to the CLTC cycle, depending on the modification. There is an 800-volt fast charging system.

Despite this, the Zhanjian 700 remains a large vehicle: its length is 5085 mm, and its wheelbase is 2900 mm. The interior features five screens, an 18.5-liter refrigerator, and massage seats. Thus, Geely combines the characteristics of a sports car, a hybrid powertrain, and off-road equipment in one vehicle.
