Nissan introduced the new Pixo — a compact A-segment city car, designed specifically for Europe. The car received a 27.5 kWh LFP battery and a 60 kW (82 hp) front electric motor. The WLTP range reaches 259 km. This is Nissan's first model for Europe with an LFP battery.
In terms of design, the Pixo is closely related to the new Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric. Both cars use the same battery and motor, but the Nissan is heavier — 1285 kg, and its range is 4 km less: the Twingo claims 263 km.
The main feature is charging. A 50 kW DC connector is standard on all versions: the battery can be charged from 15 to 80% in about 28 minutes. There is also an 11 kW three-phase AC charger with support for bidirectional energy transfer.
With a length of 3796 mm, the Pixo received a 356-liter trunk, sliding rear seats, and a turning radius of 9.9 m. Production is organized at the Renault plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, where the Twingo and Dacia Spring are also produced. Nissan's first deliveries are scheduled for early 2027. The company will announce the price in December.
