Nigel Raynard's Australian-owned Tesla Model S 75D has covered 600,000 miles, or 965,606 km. The car has been in operation for over eight years and is used for passenger transport.
The main indicator is the battery. The original battery lasted about 666,666 km, after which it was replaced under warranty due to an error. A 90 kWh battery was installed in the car. According to the owner, the charging speed of the old battery had significantly decreased by that time.
Over the remaining lifespan, the Model S also required other work: the air conditioner, suspension components, front-wheel drive supports, and half-shafts were replaced. However, the owner replaced the brake pads only once. The reason is regenerative braking, which allows mechanical brakes to be used much less frequently.
