First Full Disassembly of Lada Iskra: Renault Inside, Japanese Airbags, and Chinese Electronics

Experts from "Klubny Servis" conducted the first full disassembly of the new Lada Iskra in Techno trim, costing 1.5 million rubles, in Russia. The car was literally taken apart to the last bolt, including the engine and subframe. Despite the model's modest class, Ilya Sviridov noted many positive aspects: neat wiring, double door seals, and decent quality of body welding.

Inside the car, an international assembly was discovered: the driver's airbag is Chinese, the passenger's is Japanese, the airbag control unit is also from China, and the media system with Yandex services turned out not to be of local design. But the instrument panel is Russian, from "ITELMA". An interesting detail - stamped Renault inscriptions still remain on the body elements, confirming the platform's origin.

There were also some oddities: the steering knuckles are covered in rust, and the metal elements behind the front bumper are not painted at all. Under the hood and underneath, there are controversial engineering solutions. Nevertheless, the overall impression of the car is that of an inexpensive, but still "foreign car" with a decent level of assembly.
