Chinese Xpeng is taking the P7+ to a new level, transforming it from a local model into a full-fledged global product, also targeting Europe. The updated liftback of the 2026 model year has already been launched in China at a price starting from 186,800 yuan (2.1 million rubles), and for this money, the company offers not just a restyling, but actually a rethought version of the flagship with an emphasis on technology, design, and versatility of power plants.
Externally, the P7+ has changed neatly but noticeably. The front part received a single LED strip of daytime running lights and more chrome accents, which adds visual "premiumness" to the car. Due to the redesigned bumpers, the body length increased by 15 mm, and the overall dimensions are now 5071 × 1937 × 1512 mm with a wheelbase of 3000 mm. The proportions emphasize belonging to the business class, and the 20-inch wheels already in the base make the image complete without the need for upgrades.
The interior is one of the key growth points compared to the previous version. Xpeng focused on minimalism and "clean" lines: the air ducts are hidden, physical elements are minimized, and the emphasis is shifted to materials and the digital environment. The trim uses microfiber, faux suede, and decorative wood with chrome inserts. Ambient lighting with 256 colors allows you to fine-tune the mood, and the soft-touch ceiling adds a sense of expensive interior.
In front of the driver is an 8.8-inch digital instrument screen, complemented by a large 29-inch AR projection display. The sound is provided by an audio system with 20 speakers, and the seats have been redesigned to increase comfort on long trips.
The software part deserves special attention. Optionally, the P7+ can be equipped with a second-generation VLA system, which combines computer vision, language understanding, and action generation with elements of reasoning. This is already a step towards a more "meaningful" interaction of the car with the driver. The new AIOS 6.0 multimedia platform received an updated Driving Light interface language, more lively animations, and improved interaction logic, which makes the digital environment less "sterile" and more human.
The range of power plants emphasizes the versatility of the model. The EREV version is aimed at those who want maximum freedom without dependence on the charging infrastructure. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine-generator with a capacity of 110 kW (148 hp), which powers a 49.2 kWh battery. The electric motor develops 180 kW (241 hp), and the range on pure electricity reaches 430 km. In mixed mode, the figure reaches an impressive 1,550 km according to the CLTC cycle. 5C charging support allows you to replenish the range by 277 km in just 5 minutes, which looks impressive even by the standards of 2026.
The fully electric version of the P7+ BEV is offered with two power options - 180 and 230 kW (241 and 308 hp). Batteries of 61.7 and 74.9 kWh are available for it, and the maximum range reaches 725 km according to CLTC. This set makes the model competitive not only in the Chinese, but also in the European market, where range and dynamics remain key arguments.
Even in the standard configuration, the Xpeng P7+ is equipped with an advanced set of driver assistants operating on two Nvidia Drive Orin chips with a total performance of 508 TOPS. For an additional fee, Ultra SE and Ultra ADAS systems with proprietary Turing processors are offered, providing up to 2,250 TOPS. In combination with VLA, this emphasizes Xpeng's strategy: the focus is not only on "hardware", but also on intelligent filling.
