The company "MotoVeloZavod" has presented the Minsk iX electric motorcycle, designed for both city and off-road travel.
The model is equipped with air cooling and a 10 kW (13.6 hp) electric motor, delivering up to 60 Nm of torque. The maximum speed is 120 km/h, making the new product a competitor to gasoline enduro motorcycles in the same class. Thanks to the stepless transmission and smooth ride, the motorcycle should be suitable for both beginners and more experienced riders.
The suspension of the Minsk iX is adapted for active riding: an inverted telescopic fork is installed in the front, and a monoshock in the rear. The motorcycle is equipped with spoked wheels: 21 inches in the front and 18 inches in the rear, with off-road tires (90/90-21 and 120/90-18).
Disc brakes on both axles are responsible for braking. The ground clearance is 260 mm, which also emphasizes the off-road nature of the model. The total length is 2210 mm with a width of 850 mm and a height of 1215 mm, the wheelbase is 1450 mm.
A full battery charge takes 2.5 hours. The claimed range is up to 150 km, which should be enough for urban use and short out-of-town trips. The curb weight of the model is 133 kg.
