AvtoVAZ made excuses for the low prices of Lada in Belarus: it is much cheaper for neighbors than in Russia

The reason lies in customs duties and dealer policies

The low cost of AvtoVAZ cars in Belarus is due to government support measures, dealer policies, customs duties and reduced tax rates. This was reported by the AvtoVAZ press service.

The peculiarities of the economic environment also have a significant impact — a different taxation system and a different VAT calculation mechanism.

The current cost of Lada Vesta in almost maximum configuration on the Belarusian market is about 1.1 million rubles, while in Russia it is 1.5 million rubles.

The same situation is observed with Lada Granta. In Belarus, its cost in the basic configuration reaches 830 thousand rubles, while in Russia it is already more than 1 million rubles.

Earlier motoram.ru reported that VAZ-2110 1999 without mileage is sold in Russia.
