A rare ZIM - also known as GAZ-12 - has appeared for sale on a free classifieds platform in Volgograd.
The car was manufactured in 1956, but after 69 years, it remains in excellent condition for its age, according to the owner of the first Soviet limousine. And it has never been in an accident.
The car has a glorious history - it has led Victory Parades for decades. The seller claims that the GAZ-12 is all in its original splendor, every button is working.
The first Soviet limousines rolled off the assembly line of the Molotov plant in 1950, hence the car's first name. However, in 1957, the politician fell into disgrace and the enterprise was renamed the Gorky Automobile Plant. Thus, ZIM became GAZ.
Earlier, motoram.ru reported that VAZ-2110 1999 without mileage is sold in Russia.
