The testing will assess the vehicle's dynamics, handling, and reliability. Mass production is expected to begin in the first half of 2026, with sales starting in the summer of the same year.

The model, presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025), does not yet reflect the final design. The exterior and interior of the prototypes are still being refined.

Everything shown at SPIEF is naturally not the final version of the car, both in terms of exterior and interior.

Azimut is built on the Lada Vesta platform. The crossover will feature upgraded 1.6 and 2-liter engines, as well as a new rear suspension. Options include a multimedia system with voice control and full LED optics.

Lada Azimut is positioned as AvtoVAZ's first in-house developed crossover.
