An interesting lot has appeared for sale in Novosibirsk — a UAZ-452 from 2023, better known as the "Loaf". The car is being sold for 2.05 million rubles, and it features exclusive tuning and a non-standard paint job. For comparison, new UAZs of this class cost from 1.1 million at dealerships.
Many things in the car have been replaced and modified: Raptor paint, sound insulation, optics, glazing, rear axle lock and differential, and the floor has been replaced with a corrugated sheet.
The configuration includes a 112 hp gasoline engine, with a claimed mileage of only 1,500 km.
The "Loaf" is a true symbol of the domestic auto industry, which has continued to travel the roads of Russia and the CIS countries almost unchanged since 1965. Its nickname comes from the characteristic shape of the body — square, flattened, resembling bread.
